Job Summary:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization across the organization. This role combines strategic financial management with a strong focus on process improvement, ensuring that the company maximizes value, reduces inefficiencies, and maintains financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Financial Leadership

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Operational Efficiency

• Evaluate and streamline financial and operational processes to eliminate redundancies and drive cost efficiency.
• Implement best practices, systems, and tools to improve accuracy, speed, and transparency in financial operations.
• Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, cost control, and overall business efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Supply Chain, Operations, IT) to align financial goals with operational performance.

Strategic Business Partnering

• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision making.
• Assess new investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and business cases to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
• Drive financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide management on risks, opportunities, and long-term planning.

People & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and operations efficiency teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Build capacity within the team to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in financial operations, efficiency improvement, and cost optimization.
• Experience in multinational or complex organizational environments preferred.
• Proven track record of driving operational transformation and implementing financial systems.
