Job Summary:





HR Supervisor oversees all human resource and administrative functions. This role focuses on policy development, employee training, compliance, performance management, and administrative operations to support a productive and compliant work environment





Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and Tanzanian labor laws. 
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Coordinate employee training, development, and performance appraisal systems.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Administration

  • Oversee office administration and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures (e.g., licenses, insurance, staff welfare).
  • Supervise support staff and manage administrative procurement needs (supplies, utilities, etc.).
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and develop annual training plans.
  • Organize internal and external training sessions and monitor training effectiveness.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports for management (leave reports, attrition, training logs, etc.).

Others

  • Any other duties or responsibilities assigned relevant to your role assigned by your direct report or Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR and administrative experience, preferably in a service industry.
  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
