Job Summary

A well-established company in the Transport & Diversified Services industry is seeking a skilled and results-driven Full Stack Programmer to develop, maintain, and enhance web and mobile applications that support its business operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for backend and frontend development, cross-platform mobile applications, API integration, database management, and system deployment. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple systems while ensuring performance, reliability, and an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development & System Architecture

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP (Laravel) and Python (Django or FastAPI).
  • Build scalable, secure, and reliable server-side systems to support business operations.
  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between web applications, mobile platforms, and third-party services.
  • Write clean, structured, reusable, and maintainable code following established software development standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend performance issues, application errors, and system bugs.

2. Frontend Development

  • Develop responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing web applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into effective frontend solutions.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Ensure web applications function consistently across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Maintain and improve existing user interfaces, application performance, and overall usability.

Mobile Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
  • Build and optimize mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
  • Integrate Firebase services, including push notifications and other relevant application functionalities.
  • Connect mobile applications with backend systems and third-party APIs.
  • Test, debug, and optimize mobile applications to ensure reliability, performance, and a consistent user experience.

3. Database Design & Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain relational databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Optimize database queries, structures, and performance to support efficient application operations.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient data handling across systems.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.
  • Support ongoing database maintenance, upgrades, and performance improvements.

4. Deployment, Testing & System Maintenance

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain applications within server environments using Docker and relevant deployment tools.
  • Use Git for version control, code management, and development collaboration.
  • Conduct application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor application performance and address system errors to maintain operational reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing software updates and system improvements.

5. Collaboration & Technical Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
  • Support the integration, maintenance, and improvement of multiple business systems.
  • Communicate technical issues, development progress, and system requirements effectively.
  • Manage multiple development tasks and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, system efficiency, and user experience.
  • Perform other related software development and technical responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in full stack web and mobile application development.
  • Strong experience with MVC-based backend frameworks, including PHP (Laravel) and Python (Django or FastAPI).
  • Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks for developing responsive and user-friendly web applications.
  • Practical experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for Android and iOS.
  • Knowledge of Firebase integration, including push notification implementation for mobile applications.
  • Strong ability to design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in relational database design, management, and optimization using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Good understanding of application deployment, server environments, and Docker.
  • Excellent debugging, software testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple systems, and meet project deadlines.
