Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a skilled Electrical / Automation Engineer with a background in technical support, project execution, and sales. The role involves working closely with clients to provide automation solutions, supporting engineering projects, and contributing to business development efforts. Candidates with a Diploma in Electrical or Automation Engineering and extensive hands-on experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
  • Provide technical support for automation equipment and electrical systems.
  • Support project implementation and ensure work is completed according to specifications.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of automation and electrical systems.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, project reports, and system records.
  • Support the sales team with basic technical information and client demonstrations when required.
  • Perform site visits for system checks, maintenance, and client support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and suppliers during project execution.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1+ year of relevant work experience in electrical or automation systems.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and automation equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation issues.
  • Exposure to automation equipment or industrial control systems is an added advantage.
  • Basic technical documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
